Fonts
Sans Serif fonts are ideal for body copy. Some of the most popular are Arial, Verdana, Helvetica, Futura, Calibri, and Century Gothic.
Arial is the most used font on the internet.
Example: Google
Verdana is second most used font. The quality doesn’t degrade on small resolutions.
Example: Ikea
Georgia is easily readable. It is great for body copy.
Example: Trip Advisor
Lato has a lot of different styles. You can use one style for your body and another style for your headings.

Font Combinations
Each page should have no more than 3 different fonts. However, it is useful to use more than one to make your site more interesting.
Here are some good font combinations:
- Open Sans and Roboto
- Example: Dropbox
- Playfair Display and FontAwesome
- Example: Style Craze
- Lora and Arial
- Example: The Advocate
- Monospace and Lato
- Example: Taringa
- Verdana and Monospace

Font Size
Font size should be at least 16pt, if that is still looking small increase it to 18pt.
Font Formats
Not all fonts work on all browsers.
Some of the common formats are:
- EOT (Embedded OpenType)
- OTF (OpenType)
- TTF (TrueType Font)
- WOFF (Web Open Font Format) and WOFF2
- SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics)
TTF and WOFF format are compatible with almost all browsers.
