Sebo uses Authy for shared 2 Factor Authentication. Here are the steps on how to install Authy on your phone or MacBook:
1) Download Twilio Authy – Download the Authy App from either the App Store or Google Play store. Authy used to have a desktop app but they discontinued it in early 2024. If you would prefer not to have Authy on your phone you can download the iPad version of the App from the App store on your MacBook Pro.
2) Once you download the app and launch it. You will need to log in using the email agency@sebomarketing.com and the phone number 801-227-7326. Have it push a request to all of the other connected devices and then let Josh or Jonny (or anyone who has Authy) know when you get to this point so they can either accept the request or you can have it text a 6 digit code to the Sebo phone number and then Nia can provide you with the 6 digit code.
3) From the tokens section of the app the credentials should be locked the first time you are signed in. Once you click into them they will ask for the backup password. You can find the long backup password in LastPass under the name “Authy Backup Password”. Once you put the password in you should be able to see all of the 2FA accounts we have saved in Authy. Tapping on one of the squares will allow you to see the 6 digit 2FA code for that site/account (this code gets recycled every 30 seconds).
4) In the App go to Settings -> Devices and under “This Device” see what the device is named. Make sure it includes your name. If not, update it to have your name… Such as “Alex’s MacBook” or “Dani’s iPhone”, etc. This is important so that we can keep audit of who has access to the 2 factor.
As for how to log in to an account… Different sites will have different messages but basically when you get to the step for 2 Factor code you will grab it from the app for the specific account. The Agency Google Account will be listed as “Google Authenticator app” as the way to sign in.
Let the Fulfillment Manager know when you have access to Authy so they can update our records.
