Client,
I am reaching out to discuss with you the possibility of implementing some additional data gathering for your website called offline conversion tracking. As you know, we believe that data is powerful, and we want to get you the most accurate data possible. With accurate data, we can better know how our efforts in Google Ads are impacting your business. Right now with our current data, we only see how many leads you receive. However, we would like to work with you to take your data a step further and see how many leads are closed from the leads you get from Google Ads. This data could help us allocate your budget more efficiently in Google Ads and help us to target customers more accurately. This process of collecting the conversion data or leads that you close is called “offline conversion tracking.”
The process of setting up Offline Conversion Tracking can be a little time consuming and involves several steps, but we believe the data we receive is well worth it. For example, to implement the tracking, we would need to work with your webmaster or get access to your website. We would also need access to your CRM or someone we could work with who has access to your CRM. We would then need to implement a certain tracking code to your site, and once we set up the tracking code, we will need someone from your team to add the data to your tracking sheet at the end of every week [MC Note you can do this, but if you are planning to have your client do it I think it fair to warn them]. The weekly data collection should take around 10 minutes every week.
To give you a better understanding of the basics of this process and why it is helpful, here is a video that explains the process of setting up Offline Conversion Tracking. Don’t worry if you do not understand everything; I will be walking you through the whole process. But this video is some information to help you understand a little bit more about what we are hoping to accomplish.
Our efforts in Google Ads have been going very well so far, and I believe setting up Offline Conversion Tracking will improve your ROI even more. It will give you a more comprehensive understanding of your keywords and campaigns. Offline Conversion data is also especially helpful with Google’s smart learning tools and products, which can help us optimize your campaigns even better. The more information we can give to Google, the more accurate their predictive services will be, and they can help us find even better customers. And the more data we have, the better we can help you as partners in growing your business.
Please reach out and let me know what questions you have and if you would be interested in discussing this further to see if offline conversion tracking is something we want to implement for your marketing. We feel this will help us better serve you and would love to discuss with you if this is feasible for you and if so, how best to go about it if you are interested.
Thanks so much,
