Google wants good quality content that is unique and attributed to the original source. When creating new content it is important to make sure that you don’t duplicate other content from other websites. That’s not to say you can’t quote another article, or have a video on your website that’s on another website first. The intent is what matters. If you are creating useful content that adds something useful and unique to the web as a whole, you don’t have to worry about duplicate content.
